I recently contacted David to help find a placement for my elderly stepmother who recently had a stroke and a broken hip. David is a wealth of knowledge for elder care and placement. I didn’t know where to start and there are so many choices. David helped me to figure out what type of care was needed and we decided on a Board and Care Home. Over the course of two mornings we visited a variety of suitable places. They were all wonderful choices. On the second day we found the perfect place! It was close to my home with a great home environment and a helpful and kind staff. David helped to make sure all the details were in place for a smooth transition. Two month later, I am thrilled with the placement and the level of care my stepmother is receiving. David really helped streamline the entire process and answered all my detailed questions. We didn’t need care until 2025. My mom found a wonderful woman who listened to her needs and helped her once a week. Whether it was helping her organize her closet or taking her to lunch, my mom was really pleased with her helper found through SLO Caregivers network. She was planning to expand her hours and remain in her home as long as she could.

When my mom’s care needs became more advanced this summer, David met with me and took me to three potential homes that fit into my mom’s needs and budget.
